Forum of Federations will elide the viewing paradigm from the walls in favor of the ceiling and floor. With a cushion placed on the floor and a constellation of visual material on the ceiling, the viewer will place themselves in the "forum." Using references to, and new interpretations of culture, artists, text, and media, Spertus has produced an image commune that explores 21st century perceptual alignments and material relationships in light of the development of the 20th.
